About The Plantation by the Lake
Our Location
Located on 50-acres of secluded paradise just over an hour from Dallas, The Plantation by the Lake is the perfect venue for a romantic wedding, corporate event, or family birthday/reunion. Traveling guests have the option to fly directly into the Tyler airport just 13 miles away. The six-acre private lake offers fishing, kayaking, and a stunning backdrop for events and photographs. The lake is steps away from the house, as are the valley and barn which offer space to host tented events and games. Guests enjoy use of the Bed & Breakfast style home and all amenities, fresh eggs from the chickens, and access to the one-mile hiking trail through the piney woods.
Our Accommodations
Guests enjoy scenic views of the lake, woods, and valley. The charming 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath plantation-style home is equipped with multiple dreamy living areas and a kitchen with double ovens, a 6 burner stove, ice makers and serving trays. Two of the three upstairs bedrooms have private balconies, and the two downstairs bedrooms have direct outdoor access to the grounds. The home has 6 beds but easily accommodates up to 13. Wedding parties enjoy the glamorous bridal suite and separate area for the groomsmen. The spacious back patio offers an outdoor kitchen and fireplace.

There's always something to do at The Plantation by the Lake, whether you're looking to hold a glamorous wedding, fish or kayak on the lake, play cornhole, take a hike on the trail, or just curl up with a book. We offer a variety of activities to suit all ages and interests, all within the private, secluded serenity of 50 beautiful acres. The home is 10 minutes away from Lindale and 20 minutes away from Canton Trade Days if you choose to venture out to shop.
